Welcome to the The International [email protected] Hanoi official Q and A page. Here we ask the questions, and the school answers directly. It is its chance to have its say on specific areas you have told us you want to know about. If you think there are additional questions we should be asking you may contact us here.

How many nationalities are represented in your school? How international would you say your school is?

As an international school, we offer education for children from a diverse range of nationalities. We expect that our student population will be truly international.

Are there high proportions of a particular nationality?

What is the teacher: student ratio in your school?

Throughout Early Years and Primary, each class has one fully qualified, highly experienced lead teacher and at least one full-time Classroom Assistant. Additional support staff are shared within Secondary departments.

Does the school have cafeteria facilities for the students? How does it promote a balanced diet?

What is the starting and finishing time of your school day?

The start and end times are expected to be from 8.00am to 3.00pm yet these times will be confirmed in the near future. The school will offer after school activities which will run from 3.15 - 4.15pm.

Is there a school uniform?

Yes, all students must wear the School uniform which will be available for purchase from The Shop @ ISPH.

Which languages are taught at your school - please detail any as a first as well as second language?

All lessons will be taught in English with the exception of Vietnamese & Korean. We may also offer Spain, Korean and/or French depending on demand from our founding families.

Do you offer EAL or TEFL support for those students where English is not their first language?

Do you have a learning support team in your school?

Not all schools are staffed or resourced to offer learning support to those children with either moderate or significant learning needs. To what level can you offer support for those with learning differences?

ISPH will have a Learning Support Department with staff who provide specialist additional support for those students who may benefit from this provision. On occasion, we may not be able to meet the needs of children with specific needs and/or learning disabilities and we assess all applicants to ensure that we are able to effectively cater for their needs before they are accepted into ISPH. We request that parents of prospective ISPH students openly declare all necessary information about their child during the application process.

If you are the owner or the principal of the school and note any inaccuracies, or would like to update data, you can now open an account with us. You will also be able to add admissions availability per year group, and advertise current job vacancies. This is a free service. Please help us keep prospective parents up to date with your latest information.
