St Nicholas International School offers a K-12 American education that's enriched with plenty of extra-curricular activities to families living in central Da Nang.
Located in central Da Nang, St Nicholas International School offers an American education to students from kindergarten through to college. The K – 12 school starts with a Reggio Emilia-based curriculum in kindergarten, and then follows a US-based curriculum through elementary, middle, and high school. All students work towards a US High School Diploma.
The school timetable at St Nicholas includes a varied programme of co-curricular activities including performing arts, STEM, and enrichment programmes. Every month, students reconstruct famous court cases in a 'pop-up' courtroom and take part in TED-style talks, and throughout the semester students can sign up for music festivals, a science fair, debating tournaments, and much more.
There's certainly plenty of activity beyond the classroom here. Students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of sports, ranging from basketball and swimming to mountaineering and kayaking. There are also clubs including Model United Nations, coding, maths, creative writing, and journalism.
Facilities include a STEM Lab and science labs, badminton and basketball courts, a well-equipped library, and a cafeteria serving organic food.
