A new international, all-through school will open in Hanoi in September, offering local and foreign students a British-style education. Located in the community of ParkCity, International School@ParkCity Hanoi is currently enrolling students aged five to 13 years for its Year 1-8 classes.

ISPH is set to be an all-through school, with plans to open nursery and reception classes in 2020, and Years 9-13 from 2020-24. Teaching will follow the UK National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). All lessons will be taught in English with the exception of Vietnamese and Korean.

This is the first new international school to open within Hanoi in the past three years – and is the first new opening since the government eased strict regulations on admissions. Under the new Decree 86, local children can now make up to 50% of an international school’s student body. Previously, the percentages of Vietnamese primary and secondary students in international schools were limited to 10% and 20% respectively.

Other schools that are due to open in 2019 include Viet Hoa International School and Vietnam Finland International School, both in Ho Chi Minh City.

ISPH is the second international school operated by the ParkCity Group, which opened a sister school in Malaysia in 2011 – The International School@ParkCity Kuala Lumpur (ISPKL).
