UAE MoE

The UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) Curriculum teaches 14 subjects to various grades of pupils*. It has been created very much in line with the UAE's goals and values.

The curriculum is used by all public schools, and some private schools that have chosen to follow it. Note, all schools - public and private - use the MoE curriculum for Arabic, Social and Islamic Studies.

Instruction in MoE schools is in Arabic, although English as a second language is emphasised. There is also an Islamic and Social Studies component.

Arabic study up to Grade 12 is a requirement.

• Science and Social Study
• Geography and History
• Mathematics
• English
• Geology
• Psychology
• Economics
• Social study
• Anthropology
