Brighton College (Bangkok)

This school for students aged two to 18 years replicates the authentic Brighton College experience, from the academic rigour of its curriculum through to the traditional house system.

There are Common Entrance exams in Year 8, specialist teaching from Year 5, a strong house system, and lessons in Thai and Mandarin Chinese from early years (Bangkok). Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST)

This Thai export of the prestigious UK public school offers students aged six to 18 years a typically British education on a large green campus with an impressive arts centre. The curriculum features IGCSES, A Levels and BTEC diplomas. BIST is the only international export of the UK’s Bromsgrove School, which delivers a a broad education that is built on growing investment in sport and the arts.

Harrow International School Bangkok

There’s more to Harrow International School Bangkok than the famous public school name. Here’s a school that was ‘built’ on the foundations of the original 450-year-old British all-boys’ boarding school.

While it has all the hallmarks of the Harrow brand, from strong academic results to a reputation for excellent extra-curricular activities, it has also developed a strong identity of its own. Rugby School Thailand

The school is designed to offer a very British prep school experience. Students benefit from having specialist subject teachers from an early age, and joining small class sizes of 1:18. Rugby School Thailand is the first in Thailand to offer an extended day that runs from 8.15am (8.30am in Reception through to Year 2) until 5pm (3.15pm in Reception through to Year 2). To some parents, a nearly nine-hour school day is just too much. Shrewsbury International School Bangkok

This British institution opened its school gates in 2003 and brought with it all the traditions and values of the highly reputed British Shrewsbury School – from high academic standards through to pastoral care. Here’s a school that brings all the rigour of a Shrewsbury education from the banks of the River Severn in the UK to the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the very heart of Bangkok.

Shrewsbury International School Bangkok (City) and  (Riverside) is not simply a carbon copy of the British public school, though.
