Royal Beach Nursery  is located in a large cream coloured villa with an extra smaller villa beside with a high wall and particularly secure gate. The entrance has pretty flowers and bushes with small statues of ducks and swans. Through the gate there is an archway which has creeper plants as you walk along pretty paving stones.

Our consultant was welcomed by one of the assistants and directed to the manager's desk which is in the reception area. The reception area is decorative and fun. There are lots of colourful artifacts and an attractive aquarium, plenty of small chairs and interesting pieces of furniture.

You can clearly see that the manager, Ms Sarah Aime, is keeping a keen eye on all aspects of the nursery.  While I was speaking to Sarah an ex-parent bearing chocolates dropped in with her parents to say 'hello'. Sarah switched immediately to speak French to the parents then later chatted in Arabic over the phone. The nursery offers French classes on alternate days so being bi-lingual is truly encouraged.

Our consultant was offered a guided tour by a knowledgeable and experienced member of staff who had been in Dubai more than 22 years. All the classrooms look colourful with age appropriate classroom equipment. There is even a beauty salon where the girls can have their nails painted! There is a separate dining room for the children to eat as food is not allowed into the classrooms. I asked about IT and she explained that it was not encouraged as the children were too young and need to be creative.

Upstairs there is a large light soft play area with playhouses and plenty of room to run around. In the separate villa beside there is an art classroom where children had been working with photos and paint on proper canvases.

Royal Beach Nursery looks like a happy and truly international environment.
