The majority of pupils make very good progress in English and the standard of writing composition is well-above average. This is achieved through a blended learning approach affording pupils opportunities for collaboration, independence and detailed analysis. Very good attainment in maths and science is achieved because pupils work in groups differentiated by abilty; this ensures that all pupils have an individualised education. The science lab, IT hub and STEM room offer opportunities for enterprise and experiments providing a firm foundation for senior school studies. Creativity is a feature of an education at RPS; music is represented by an orchestra, choir and musical performance whilst art is taught by a specialist teacher in a specially designed art studio. Pupils can learn about sustainability in our 'Peace Garden' where yoga and meditation classes are also undertaken. Above all, the focus at RPS is ensuring pupils' well-being and happiness. This is a school where the needs of each individual child are central to all that is offered.
