Now in its twelfth year of operation Umm Suqeim 3 located Raffles World Academy is home to approximately 1,720 boys and girls studying the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Course and Diploma Programmes (DP). The school moved to a full IB World school from 2018-19 with IGCSE having been halted at the end of 2017-18.

At Raffles World Academy (RWA), we take our responsibility for the education and the well-being of each child very seriously. We help establish the foundations that support the growth of balanced and principled life-long learners, who we aim to develop into responsible global citizens who contribute to the communities in which they will live and work.
As soon as you walk onto the campus at RWA, you have a strong sense that ours is a multi-cultural, internationally-minded community. Established in 2008 with a diverse cultural base of students and teachers representing over 85 different nationalities, it is an exciting and stimulating environment of which to be a part.
We are an authorised IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Cambridge Secondary (CS1), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and IB Diploma and Courses programmes. These are designed to offer our students the most up to date skills they will need for higher education and life in an evolving world beyond school, where adaptability and problem-solving capabilities are valued. We aim to ensure that your child's potential is unlocked and fostered by teachers who understand how children learn, how to measure their progress and offer them the challenge and support they need to make learning stimulating and enjoyable.
Our goal is to assist your child in their learning journey of inquiry and discovery, helping to develop the attributes that make up the IB Learner Profile and be consistent with our Guiding Statements. Communication with, and partnership between, home and school is critical to our success at RWA. We encourage open and honest dialogue between parents, staff and students to develop a learning community that is internationally-minded, tolerant and respectful.
We believe that the quality of a school is determined by the quality and dedication of its staff. Our teachers engage and guide students in their learning and social development. Our teachers are experienced, well-qualified educators that reflect our international and multi-cultural ethos.
We work to ensure that our young people develop sound character, have a strong sense of community and are willing to consider the needs of others. We want to develop students who are innovators, team players and team leaders, proud of their achievements and able to celebrate the success of others.
