Pakistani Educational Academy was founded in founded in 1968 with the intent to "impart quality education to the children of Pakistani community in UAE."

Pakistan Educational Academy has achieved an Acceptable rating (up from Weak) in the 2022-23 KHDA inspection process. The inspection report can be found under the Inspection report tab. An update to this review will be completed in due course.

The story so far...

Pakistani Educational Academy has been subject to inspection reports since 2009, receiving an Acceptable rating for the last six years. Since the last report, the school has made improvements in the attainment and progress of students in English and maths in KG and the care and support of students in KG, Primary, and High.

The school can improve across divisions, specifically with challenging students to reach higher levels of attainment. As the report notes, 'Critical thinking skills, and the use of learning technologies, [are] at early stages of development and implementation across the school Students [are] enthusiastic about their learning but not always as responsive to challenges set by their teachers."

Although teaching in the school is found to be acceptable, there is still room for further growth and development. As the report finds, "Teaching [is] acceptable with teachers demonstrating secure subject knowledge. However, it [does not] routinely promote the interests and learning of students. Assessment strategies [are] not sufficiently robust to enable students to make good progress."

Leadership and management of the school was not ranked higher than in the previous report, however, the KHDA notes that "The new principal, school leaders and governing body demonstrated commitment to provide improved educational opportunities and the attainment of higher standards for students in the school."

Boys and girls are separated and have separate wings in the school building starting after Grade 3.

The school has an auditorium, a library, a computer lab, art rooms, ICT rooms, a separate play area for KG. Pakistani Education Academy is also one of the few schools to have a Home Economics Laboratory, however, it is just for girls as to, as the website explains, "equip the female students with the perception and skills suited to their responsibilities."

There is an admissions test although it varies for each grade. Details can be found here

Fees, which are affordable, range from AED 5,985 in the KG section to AED 8,210 in Grade 12.
