The nursery is located in a cream villa with bright mulberry and green painted walls. There are several colourful toys outside to attract children. Having rung the bell our consultant was greeted by the director Fatima Bahgat who was very welcoming and spoke in a gentle and experienced manner. She seemed proud of the nursery and explained how the nursery is very committed to the Montessori system.

The school was quiet as there was a large school trip to nearby Safa Park although a few children having their lunch in the kitchen. They were sitting at a low table with little table mats. Fatima readily answered our consultant's questions and showed her round the site. The reception area is colourful and contains many attractive toys, images and artefacts. All equipment, especially the Montessori studio, looks well-kept and seems very popular. A little American boy was showing his grandma around the school with great enthusiasm.

Each classroom has a bathroom, a library and is well set up with age appropriate activities and equipment. One bathroom is especially set up for potty training and there is also a bedroom with little cots for nap time. Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are very much welcomed at the school. There are classes in English, French, Arabic and recently German from one member of staff.

A cosy, calm and peaceful atmosphere.
