Jebel Ali Village Nursery, Health Care City is a private nursery for children from six weeks to four years of age located in Health Care City, Dubai.  It opened in 2011. The branch is one of six nurseries in the the Jebel Ali Village Nurseries group. The group's first nursery opened in 1977, however that founding pre-school is now closed due to a Nakheel redevelopment of the area. As a group, the company employs predominately British and European trained teachers. It claims a low child to teacher ratio and is said to encourage parent-teacher dialogue. Each nursery follows a British, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Music and movement are also used to teach and encourage language and listening skills through rhythm, singing and playing instruments. Jebel Ali Village Nursery Health Care City is situated in the heart of Dubai Health Care City - and therefore surrounded by the city's most well known hospitals. Facilities include a separate room for nursing mothers, and an outdoor shaded playground. Fees are approximately 33,300 AED per year, depending on how many days per week the child is enrolled (not including any additional fees). The school is open from 8 am to 5:30 pm Sundays through Thursday. The nursery offers flexible hours to help meet the needs of each parent.

The buzz Probably one of the smaller branches of the group, both in terms of size, but also in terms of student numbers. Clean, well organized, but very small play area, and little opportunity for nearby field trips to get kids outdoors. Easy to get to by Metro, but parking said to be difficult.
