The Institute of Applied Technology Ras Al-Khaimah is a government non-profit secondary school located in Digdaga, Ras Al-Khaimah.

The school was first established as part of a group of seven other institutes throughout the UAE. Currently the Ras Al-Khaimah branch serves more than 500 students from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The institute is part of seven schools throughout the United Arab Emirates which were established to provide post-secondary career-focused Technical Education (CTE) programs to meet the "industrial needs and requirements of the nation". The school focuses on building to produce "world class technicians, engineers and scientists".

Applicants must be GCC or UAE nationals. All schools are male only, except Abu Dhabi and Al Ain branches which have a female campus.

The RAK has a wide range of facilities including a gymnasium, basketball court, fully equipped fitness center, athletics track, squash court, swimming pool, ten pin bowling alley, football field, four computer labs and an excellent range of scientific and technical equipment.

Students at the Applied Institute also get the change to take an Internship program where there is the opportunity to be sent abroad (possibly Germany, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) to gain their first work integrated experiences. At the RAK branch 34 students from different grades took their internship abroad in different countries such as Korea, Ireland, France and the USA, while 61 of them participated in 15 local companies including Abu Dhabi Islamic bank, ministry of youth.

The Institute of Applied Technology uses an American based curriculum with core subjects English, Science and Mathematics. All subjects apart from Arabic are taught in English through a variety of mediums including E-learning and project based learning.

Age ranges from (13 to 15 years for G9 students), and from (14 to 16 for G10 students) on the first day of classes. To enter students need to have passed eighth grade for G9 students, and ninth grade for G10 students. There is also an entry exam and interview.
