The Institute of Applied Technology Abu Dhabi is a government owned secondary and tertiary level education provider.

The Institute of Applied Technology in Abu Dhabi is located at Khalifa University campus.

The institute is one of a number spread throughout the United Arab Emirates to provide secondary and post-secondary career-focused Technical Education (CTE) to meet the “industrial needs and requirements of the nation”.

The institutes focus on producing “world class technicians, engineers and scientists”.

Applicants must be GCC or UAE nationals. All schools are male only, except the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain branches which have a female campus.

The Abu Dhabi campus has an Olympic size pool, a two-floor cafeteria, an auditorium, lecture halls, labs and workshops installed with the most modern machinery and apparatus. A sprawling library stretches on to two floors.

The Institute of Applied Technology follows an American based curriculum with core subjects English, Science and Mathematics. All subjects apart from Arabic are taught in English through a variety of mediums including E-learning and project based learning.

Fees are not published. More details on other institutes in the group may be found here:
