Yes, we offer TIMSS, MAP, PISA, and PIRLS.

Students’ results in Grade 12 external Ministry of Education (MoE) examinations are outstanding. All students pass SAT 1 and 75% achieve scores above the world mean. Advance Placement (AP) assessment outcomes are also high. MAP tests show very good progress in all grades. Grade 12 results in external examinations AP are very good overall.

What percentage of your sixth form that take exams at 18 go to university, and where, in general, do they go?

100% of our students go to university. It varies between years, however, most of our students are divided between Canada, USA, UK and UAE.

Do you develop independent learning through homework and, if so, what are your recommendations regarding this, particularly time spent on homework?

Yes, homework is an integral part of our curriculum. We advise that students spend between 30 mins to an hour a day on homework.

Physical education and sport is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. How does your school ensure children engage in physical activity?

We have 2 Parent-Teacher Meetings a year. In addition to an Open House at the beginning of the year. Parents can schedule in meetings with the teachers during the week.

Yes, we have started the process of supporting the Gifted & Talented.

Not all schools are staffed or resourced to offer learning support to those children with either moderate or significant learning needs. To what level can you offer support for those with learning differences?

We can offer support to those children with minor to moderate learning needs.

Does your school have particular expertise in dealing with a specific learning need such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, aspergers syndrome and so forth?

Our Learning Support Unit deals with a variety of learning needs.

We do have a social worker that deals with emotional needs of students.
