Hamdan Bin Zayed School was first established in 2006, and was previously known as the Al Mushrif Chinese School. It is located on Hazzaa Bin Zayed Street, and follows the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.
The largest single nationality of students is Emirati.
The school aims to enable pupils to become fluent in three languages - we assume, Arabic, English and Chinese - although this is not stated explicitly anywhere.
Hamdan Bin Zayed School is said to be a successful example of UAE-Chinese cooperation, although, again, we're not really sure how. The school's web site is dual language but it not sure the extent to which Chinese is taught at the school - or to what extent (if any) there is a Chinese curriculum.
The official curriculum is UAE MoE.
Note: The Chinese School of Abu Dhabi, Al Mushrif Primary School and the Hamdan Bin Zayed School are - we believe - all one and the same.
