Giggles English Nursery was founded in Abu Dhabi in 1993 and provides pre-school education for toddlers and children in a purpose built and designed environment. The nursery has two locations - in Abu Dhabi city centre on Mina Road, and on the Airport Road.

Giggles English Nursery Airport Road is open to children from 12 months up to 4 years. It, along with its sister nursery, aims "to be the first step on your child’s journey to an excellent education". Classes are separated into three age related groups - "Baby Classroom" for one to two-year olds, a Prep Classroom for two to three years and a Prep 2 classroom for three to four year olds.

Baby classrooms offer strategies for building positive relationships, helping children develop self-regulation and responding to challenging behaviors in a safe environment.

Children in Prep.1 classrooms are curious and ready to explore the world by using all their senses. Themes explored include All about Me, My Family, Four Seasons, Animals and Fruits and Vegetables.

In Prep 2 through structured activities and exploratory play, children are prepared and gain the essential skills needed for their big school. Themes include Shapes and Colors, Ocean Life, Transportation, Farm Animals, Fruits and Vegetables, All about Me and Safety.

Giggles itself describes its program as "well-balanced", "structured by our team of professional teachers and staff to include both group-centered and individual- centered learning experiences".  A typical day will consist of both teacher-directed group instruction and a range of individual child-directed activities including both skill-development projects, and free play.

Its core curriculum focuses on language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, home arts and social and physical development. The curriculum "nurtures and challenges your child to think creatively as they learn to better understand and navigate the world around them".

Both of its nurseries open 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday. The core hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There is an after school club until 6pm but places seem very limited.

Both nurseries offer colourful and creative classrooms, and age appropriate equipment and materials.
Classrooms are designed to encourage children to explore their curiosity in different ways during interactions with their peers and teachers.

Both nurseries have a library, a block area and a "dramatic play area" where children can take on parts. "By playing different roles, children express their feelings to their peers and teachers while playing together and experience new worlds. Children also learn how to interact with others and learn proper conduct with their peers."

There is also an art area where children "demonstrate their emotions" through different types of materials, colour and techniques, and a Maths and Manipulative area. "Children are encouraged with table top toys such as puzzles, peg boards, board games, matching games, small blocks and magnetic building set."

Both Giggles nurseries have an outdoor play area with swings, sandpits, slides, and bikes.

Giggles has three terms, the first running from September to November, the second from December, to February, and the third from March to June. It has a rolling admission process accepting applicants throughout the year as long as space is available.
