GEMS Winchester School Abu Dhabi currently teaches 1222 students according to the National Curriculum for England.

GEMS Winchester School Abu Dhabi was founded in 2013 teaches a mixtures of Pakistani (20 percent), Indian (19 percent) and Egyptian (12 percent) students. 2 percent of the students are Emirati. 

There are 74 teachers and 20 teaching assistance and the turn-over rate stands currently at 24 percent. The teacher to student ration in KG is 1:25 and 1:30 in the other phases of the school, on the higher end of teacher to student ratios. 

In the latest Irtaaq report, GEMS Winchester School Abu Dhabi was rated a Band A Good school, achieving Good in all assessed bands across the board. As the report notes, "Students make good progress in all subjects. Senior leaders have managed successfully the significant growth of the school in the last three years. They have ensured that the large number of students arriving in all year groups have integrated well. New teachers become established quickly due to the effective support they receive. The quality of teaching has improved."

The report did not areas for improvement, specifically, "the need to improve the contribution all areas of the curriculum make to promoting students’ English language skills; the need to provide work and activities that challenge highly achieving students to achieve their full potential; the need to increase opportunities students have to develop leadership skills and plan their own learning." 

Fees for GEMS Winchester School Abu Dhabi start at 16,800 AED for FS2 and rise to 23,100 AED for Year 9.
