Child Early Intervention Medical Center is the sister centre to the Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Centre (CLEMC) based in Jumeirah.
CEIMC says it can achieve most, if it starts early: If intervention is at a young age the centre believes students can achieve the basic skills necessary for inclusion into mainstream schools and integration with typical peers.
Children are accepted from eighteen months to eighteen years old.
The centre uses Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), "a systemic treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) based on scientific research". ABA therapy is said to be most effective when applied 20-40 hours per week, and requires a commitment to a minimum of 2 to 4 years continuous service.
The Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center also organizes information sessions and workshops for parents, professionals and community members on ASD.
