95% of all our Year 13 students progress to University, the other 5% chose different paths such as travelling and military opportunities.
The amount of homework differs from year group to year group and is dependant on how appropriate it is for the topic or curriculum area.
As well as normal PE curriculum lessons we also offer a swimming lesson every week for every child up to Year 3 and then termly for all other year groups. And with so many different sports and activities on offer we ensure we have something for everyone to take part. We hold annual triathlons and duathlons which are whole school events. Even in the Summer months, where possible we ensure our students are able to run around within our many shaded areas.
We promote health & wellbeing throughout our whole student and parent community and engage outside normal curriculum requirements. With our own Sports Academy we are able to host many co-curricular activities such as; trampolining, dance, gymnastics, badminton and lots more to entice everyone to engage in a form of excercise outside of the school day. Our Parent, Teacher Association also hold many coffee mornings and workshops for the wider community to educate, share and advise.
As part of our collaboration with the UN and to support the world's Sustainable Development Goals, one of the goals we chose to work towards as a school is the 'Good Health & Wellbeing' goal which has been enbedded into our curriclum with many activities.
We provide guidance to all our parents of what should be in packed lunches and ensure we serve balanced and healthy options in our dining hall. Teachers are always on hand to support healthy choices for Primary and Secondary children when they are choosing their snacks and lunch.
We have both Primary and Secondary dining rooms and use a catering company that understands BIS Abu Dhabi's health and well-being vision and does not serve or sell food of low nutritional value.

We have a discipline policy in line with ADEK guidance.
Regular communication is maintained and encouraged throughout the academic year with both student and parent.
We provide four reports per academic year for each student and one parent/ teacher meeting per term.
