Blooming Buds nursery is located in Abu Dhabi, approximately 10 minute drive from the center between Khlaleej Al Arabi Street (30th) and 32nd Street, intersecting at Al Saada Street (19th).  It claims compliance with the UK's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

EYFS is undoubtedly the most commonly referenced curriculum for nurseries in the UAE, so Blooming Buds us not unusual in adopting it. More unusually the nursery also says it supports "all the appropriate principles and guidelines of Siolta (the Irish Framework)".

As an EYFS and indeed Siolta based nursery, the school naturally places emphasis on "learning through play", with "a huge collection" of preschool activities, games, stories, and preschool music.

The nursery also claims an "excellent ratio of highly trained and experienced teachers to children", although does not explicitly state what this ratio is. Children are divided into three age group classes - Brilliant Branches (13 months to 2 years of age), Brave Buds (2-3 years) and Brainy Blooms (3-4 years).

Feedback received has been predominantly positive. Parents cite the warm and caring nature of the preschool, along with its sense of space, something helped no doubt by being in a villa a little outside of town. The nursery has both indoor and outdoor play areas, a library, water and sand play areas and a small garden children can explore. ICT facilities are available.

The pre-school has a very informative web site. Unfortunately it does not provide details of its fees. It is also a little anonymous - it would be nice to have a face and name to represent the pre-school, and also as a first point of contact.

Blooming Buds Nursery is open 49 weeks of the year, from 7 am and closing at 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday.  Fees are payable all year round with a Summer Holiday Program runs from 1st of July to mid-August.
