Baby First Nursery Dubai is a private nursery established in September, 2011 and located within Dubai Festival City. The nursery offers an English speaking curriculum but also offers additional Arabic and French courses "on request". The nursery does not reference any specific curriculum or methodology such as EYFS, or Montessori, but says it aims to help children to develop early skills such as social and communication skills, as well as creativity, math and physical development. The center is divided into 7 class rooms with facilities such as activity rooms, playground, shaded outdoor areas and bicycle track. The nursery has generated very little buzz among the wider expat community, although very limited information we have received has been broadly positive. One area of weakness seems to be the outdoor area, which while shaded, is largely concrete, and located very close to the busy highway. The nursery offers breakfast, lunch and a snack for an additional monthly charge. Fees for the nursery range depending on the number of days the child is at school and the time of day (with both morning and afternoon classes available). Fees are 2900 AED a month for a full day (9am to 6pm). The nursery does offer hours outside of these times. After 6pm the charge is 50 AED an hour. A registration fee of 500 AED per child is charged by the school.
