The aim of the school has been to ensure children of Armenian families retain links to their history and heritage and to make them proud of their roots.

At the time the very out of date web site for the school was built, around 270 students had attended the school and sixty teachers had taught there on a voluntary basis. Around 40 children attend, once a week according to the site.

It is not a full time school.
