Al Maarifa Private School is a private K-12 international school located in Al Yarmouk, Sharjah.

The school was established in 1986 and offers an US/Arabic curriculum. Al Maarifa Private School is internationally recognized center for Cambridge International exams and upon completion students will receive an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

Through Al Maarifa Private School students are given the opportunity to sit various exams to help with college and university admission, including the SAT exam for US college admission. As of 2009 school fees range between 10350 and 18960 per year.
