Al Ameer English School is a K-12 co-educational high school that was established in 1991.

Al Ameer English School is home to students from a range of nationalities but predominantly from the sub continent, and to both girls and boys. There are however separate sections of the school for each gender, and approximately 110 teachers, "many" of whom are native English speaking.

The school follows the Indian Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum with compulsory UAE Ministry of Education based classes in Arabic, Islamic and social sciences. 

While the medium of instruction for the school is English, lessons in Hindi, Malayalam, French and Urdu are also offered. Arabic is taught as a compulsory subject as per Ministry of Education, along with Islamic studies and the Holy Qur´an. 

Principal, Mr Jacob says, “our school follows an open-door policy and we like to interact regularly with parents during Parent-Teacher meetings, I would like to personally meet you if you have any queries regarding the development of your child.”

 

Facilities
The school offers a number of facilities across a generously sized campus of 10,800 sq.m.  There are science and IT labs, KG activity room, audio-visual room, technology advanced 'smart classrooms,' playground, clinic, canteen, library and bus services. 

 

Extra-curricular Activities
Al Ameer English School offers co-curricular activities including; karate, dance, yoga, football, cricket, literary club, brain gym, abacus, life skills, music, art and craft, horseriding and swimming.
