Meet the judges on the panel deciding The WhichSchoolAdvisor.com 2019 Young Musician of the Year Award.

Anna Pym, Judge:  Anna is a freelance orchestral and session violinist. She has provided backing for artists Sam Smith, Brian May and Shirley Bassey, and played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, Chamber Orchestra of London and English National Opera.

Adam Long, Judge: Adam is one of the regions most established saxophonists, and the founder and Managing Director of SOLE Agency. Sole Agency is a Dubai based music and entertainment agency, working with and representing top local and international artists and performers, providing to hotels, venues, corporate and private events, music festivals, world class sporting events and product launches across the Middle East. 

James Mullan, Judge: James is the Co-Founder of WhichSchoolAdvisor, the UAE's first dedicated guide to private schools. In addition to running Which Media (the parent company of WhichSchoolAdvisor) James is Managing Partner of a communications company called Insight. James was formerly a director at Hill & Knowlton, the global communications company, for ten years.

Rivaan Mager:Rivaan was born and bred in South Africa, where he completed his music studies at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He has been teaching music in Dubai since 2010 where he has also worked with various orchestras and choirs. His passion for conducting and community involvement led him, in collaboration with Canadian University Dubai, to establish the UAE’s first choir for the Determined Ones. The choir aims to give everyone the same opportunities and platform, showing that music unites all, irrespective of various challenges. The choir has performed over 15 concerts including at the Special Olympics and Dubai Opera.
