We hope our readers enjoy this brand new initiative for 2019, WSA TV.  Our first discussion is focused on a topic close to every parent's heart - and wallet, value for money!

We have brought together leaders from three schools to help the UAE's parents begin to evaluate what 'value for money' really means when it comes to our children's education.

Together, Zoe Woolley, Headmistress of Foremarke School, Taher Gharib, Director at Al Salam Community School and Sam Halliday, Head of Primary at South View School will explore:

  • What value for money in education really means
  • Why value for money is different for every family
  • What parents need in their 'tool-kit' to assess whether a school offers value for money
  • The impact of added extras, buses, school trips, extra curricular activities
  • Why choice matters in education
  • Does high cost always mean high quality when it comes to schools?

We at believe that parents deserve the best possible information to make choices around their child's education.  We hope that this episode of WSA TV will help you look at value in a brand new way...

What questions should you be asking of your child's school when it comes to financial value?   Watch our panelists take on this wide ranging and pertinent conversation and use their expertise to assess value for money for your family and your child's education.

We'd love to hear your feedback on WSA TV!  What are the topics that you would like to see us discuss with education experts?  Get in touch and let us know by emailing

Please NOTE, we mute the volume by default. Please move your mouse over the video and you will see a volume bar at the bottom right of the window.
