Owners of the Creative Science School brand, Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management International (BEAM) announced last week they had signed construction contracts for three new school sites.

The new schools set to open in 2016 will be located in: Al Basha- Al Khail Road, Dubai, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai and Al Laayah area in Sharjah.

BEAM currently has two Creative Science schools in Sharjah- The International School of Creative Science – Muweileh (ISCS) and the American School of Creative Science – Maliha Road (ASCS).

Both schools offer an integrated programme which combines either the UK or US curriculum with Ministry of Education curriculum for Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies components. The three new schools are also expected to utilise this combined curricula formula.

The current Creative Science schools are considered 'affordable' with fees ranging from Dhs19,000 to Dhs46,000 per annum, however, BEAM has not yet disclosed the expected fees for the three new schools.

According to the BEAM website, the International School of Creative Science running both the UK and MOE curricula in Nad Al Sheba was expected to open in September 2015, and although currently delayed, it is now expected to open in 2016.

Speaking to Emirates 24/7, Salah Bukhatir, Chairman and CEO of BEAM and Vice Chairman of Bukhatir Group.said, "since establishing our first school in 2002, we have come a long way in realising what we so passionately set out to achieve. To this end, we have brought together a great team of leaders who have enabled the creation of an all-inclusive ecosystem that brings education to life.”

The site goes on to say, “Beam is expanding its footprint and offerings in the future through new dual curriculum schools, in addition to making a foray in the higher education, professional training and development, and schools development and management services for independent owners.”
