With the first term of in school life during the Covid-19 pandemic now well under way, we talk to three special guests about how their schools have looked to support the wellbeing of children, staff and parents in this testing and complicated time.

Please note: In the podcast we also talk about the "upcoming" Which School Show. While the event has now closed, it is not too late! You can register, and visit the stands, download information packs, and from the 9th November, watch the panel sessions. The only thing you won't be able to do is to interact live with the schools.

In the main segment, special guests Esra Uzsayilir, Head of Psychological Services at The Arbor School, Asma Ahmad, School Counsellor and Wellbeing Lead at Horizon English School and Monica Valrani, CEO of Ladybird Nursery and Early Learning Centre talk to Jenny and Carli about all aspects of child wellbeing at school or nursery, with a special focus on how their settings have adapted to the Covid19 mandated restrictions.

Our experts address many questions including; what can parents expect schools to be doing to support their child’s happiness and to address any emotional needs children have during the current time? How happy are children (really!) inside of schools with all the restrictions in pace? What is life like in a nursery right now? Our special guests have some brilliant answers and examples from their schools and nurseries.

In every episode of The School Show, we take a close look at two school reviews from This time, it’s the turn of GEMS First Point School and Future International Nursery.

So, go grab a coffee and catch up with the latest education news on's very own podcast, The School Show!
