If your children need a little extra motivation to keep engaged during the summer, good news - the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is running its #8WeekStreak for the second year.

From Sunday, July 8 to Thursday, August 30, the KHDA is challenging students to learn or do one new thing each week during the summer holiday. Students will be rewarded with weekly prizes.

To win, all a student needs to do is send a picture of themselves engaged in that activity to Twitter or Instagram using the #8WeekStreak hashtag.

There will also be a "major prize" awarded at the end of the challenge. To win a student will need to have posted every week during the #8WeekStreak

If you think you have what it takes, but are wondering what challenges to set yourself, the KHDA has also made a handy little inspiration list for July and August

Last year, students from all over Dubai posted photos of themselves doing new activities for the #10WeekStreak.
