The all-through British curriculum school will accept enrolments for students aged 3 - 13 years initially, expanding to accept students up to 18 years in August 2024.
The purpose-built campus, with a built-up area of 44,700 square meters, will be located on Reem Island.
The school's principal has been announced as Mr Jonathan Cuff, who previously held the role of principal of d'Overbroeck's, an independent day and boarding secondary school in Oxford, also within the Nord Anglia Education group.
Mr Cuff said:

In line with the education group's other schools, Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi boasts "exclusive collaborations with Apple, Juilliard, UNICEF, and MIT, as well as life-changing trips, expeditions."
The school with be Nord Anglia's second in Abu Dhabi, third in the UAE and seventh in the Middle East. The group has 82 schools globally.
