WhichSchoolAdvisor's annual school survey.

All private schools in the UAE will be required to teach courses related to 'national identity' from the beginning of the new academic year in 2013, according to the terms of draft legislation to be presented to the Federal National Council.

The courses will focus on Emirati society, Islamic studies and Arabic.

Schools are already required to fly a UAE flag and play the national anthem at morning assembly.
