National Day: 4 Day Holiday for Private Sector

There will be a two day holiday for schools and the private sector at the start of December, with both the 2nd and the 3rd of the month being declared a holiday by the UAE Cabinet.

The UAE Cabinet has approved the 2nd and the 3rd December as a holiday for the public and private sectors on the occasion of the 47th UAE National Day.

The holiday starts from Friday and work will resume on Tuesday, December 4.

In a statement, the cabinet extended warm greetings and best wishes on the occasion of the 47th National Day to the people of the UAE. 

After the National Day weekend, January 1, 2019 will be the next public holiday.
