During its inaugural year, Smart Vision will cater for Foundation 1 to Year 4. Although the school will be operating the dual curriculum system, management have told WhichSchoolAdvisor.com the school has no plans to separate the genders before Year 4.
The Foundation Section at Smart Vision is both bright and welcoming.
While the KG Section is multicoloured and bright, the Primary and reception area are certainly more muted. The Secondary Section which has not yet been built, will be constructed on the same plot, at a later date.
Are the Classrooms Furnished? The Foundation Section is entirely furnished while the rest of the school's equipment is currently being brought out of storage.
Smart Vision will have a strong focus on language tuition and plans to offer Arabic, Spanish, French and Russian from the Foundation Years onwards.
Are the Facilities Completed? Pretty much everything at Smart Vision is finished, there's even water in the swimming pool! The Foundation outdoor play areas are complete, however small details such as filling sandboxes etc. have still to be done.
The day whichschooladvisor visited the school, Astro-turf was being laid on the various playing fields.
Smart Vision plans to offer students a comprehensive range of free After School activities. To accommodate these into the school day, Smart Vision will be extending the school hours.
Have the Staff Arrived? Senior management told WhichSchoolAdvisor.com that all teaching staff have been recruited (from the UK and South Africa), and are booked to arrive next week.
Details for Parents: Smart Vision has not released a date for opening, however senior staff believe it will be after Eid. Uniforms are currently available from Zaks. Transport has been finalised with a local bus contractor.
