Once again, only GEMS Modern Academy is rated Outstanding, having also received a full inspection this year.
Six Indian schools in Dubai have improved their KHDA inspection rating compared to the 2019/2020 inspection cycle; two schools have improved from Good to Very Good (these are Credence High School and GEMS New Millennium School ); three from Acceptable to Good (Amity School Dubai, Sabari Indian School and The Indian International School DSO; and one from Weak to Acceptable (Gulf Model School). However, it's not all good news, with Woodlem Park School (formerly Bilva Indian School) having slipped back from Good to an Acceptable rating. Pearl Wisdom School, on its first inspection, also achieved an Acceptable rating.

For the first time, none of Dubai's Indian or Pakistani curriculum schools have been evaluated as Weak.
English language attainment has been a key area of improvement among the Indian schools, with 84% of schools rated Good or better in this area, increasing from 75% in 2019.
Provision for students of determination has also shown improvement according to KHDA evaluations. 5,254 students attending Indian schools in Dubai are currently identified as being students of determination, of which 85% are enrolled in schools rated as Good or above in this area, compared to 74% in 2019-20
Wellbeing has been included as a key focus area in Dubai school inspections this year. 78% of Indian schools were rated as high or very high in their wellbeing provision.
Dr Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of KHDA said:
“The improvement shown in this year’s inspection results are testament to the commitment of teachers and school leaders at Indian and Pakistani curriculum schools in Dubai. That more than three-quarters of schools were found to have high wellbeing provision speaks to the importance that schools and parents place on giving students a well-rounded education that prepares them for a healthy and prosperous future. We appreciate the support of parents and the wider community in their contribution to world-class education in Dubai.”
Fatma Belrehif, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau said:
“It’s great news that the quality of education provided by schools has continued to improve since the last full inspection cycle. We look forward to seeing further improvement across all Indian and Pakistani curriculum schools as they enhance the ways they collect and use wellbeing data; develop the quality of teaching and learning for early years and for Arabic as an additional language; and refine their self-evaluation and improvement planning processes.”
