LET'S GO

Which Media is delighted to unveil the “must attend” event for families this winter, our very first Festival of Schools. Running through the month of November, the Festival of Schools will see some of the UAE’s most exciting and welcoming schools open their gates for a series of vibrant (and FREE!) weekend events for all the family.

The Festival of Schools has been created by Which Media (the team behind the UAE's leading education websites, WhichSchoolAdvisor.com and SchoolsCompared.com) to reconnect our schools with the wider community, as the challenges and distance of the past two years begin to recede. What’s more, each Festival of Schools event will champion the all important cause of sustainability.

Visitors to the Festival will enjoy each school’s unique interpretation of our green theme “Our Planet, Our Future” along with entertainment, food, competitions and exciting educational activities.

Each of the Festival of Schools events will be held outdoors, on bright November weekend mornings. Families can enjoy beautiful weather, fresh air and plenty of space for social distancing. All visitors will need to show a negative PCR or vaccination records (Al Hosn app), in line with local safety regulations.

Alongside the fun, entertainment and great food, the Festival of Schools will be the perfect opportunity for parents to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of each host school. If you are looking for just the right place to educate your child, then why not use the festival as a fantastic opportunity for a pre-booked school tour, as well as meetings with school leaders and teachers.

Please note, all school tours will be available via an advance booking system to ensure adherence to social distancing requirements.

If you still have questions about choosing a school in general, visit the Which Media stand and chat to a member of the team from either WhichSchoolAdvisor.com or SchoolsCompared.com who will be happy to help.

For November 2021, the very first Festival of Schools will include; Safa British School in Jumeirah, GEMS FirstPoint School in The Villa, Arcadia School in Jumeirah Village Triangle and Victory Heights Primary School, in the heart of the Victory Heights community.

In order to ensure a healthy and safe Festival for all, spaces at each event will be limited.  Secure your free tickets using the links below...

Friday 5th November, 9am-12pm - Safa British School

Saturday 13th November, 9am-12pm - GEMS FirstPoint School

Saturday 20th November, 9am-12pm - Arcadia School

Saturday 27th November, 9am-12pm - Victory Heights Primary School

Join us at the Festival of Schools and WIN!

Throughout the month of November, the Festival of Schools will play host to an  exciting eco-themed competition, sponsored by Which Media. Budding young eco-journalists can share their own vision on the theme 'Our Planet, Our Future' and enter Which Media’s 500 Words for Our Future writing competition (in one of two age categories, 11 and under, or 12-18 years).

The next generation is key to a sustainable future, and we hope this competition will be a platform for young people to share their innovative green ideas and passion for sustainable living with a much wider audience.

More fantastic events and more brilliant host schools be announced soon, right here, as well as on all our social media feeds. You’ll also find all the latest Festival news by joining on our Facebook group, Parents United UAE.  If you would like to receive the latest Festival news by email - drop a note to [email protected].
