Every school, every family! The Festival of School events are open to everyone - whether your child attends the school or not!
For November 2021, the very first Festival of Schools will include; Safa British School in Jumeirah, GEMS FirstPoint School in The Villa, Arcadia School in Jumeirah Village Triangle and Victory Heights Primary School, in the heart of the Victory Heights community.

In order to ensure a healthy and safe Festival for all, spaces at each event will be limited and entrants will be required to show their vaccination record, negative PCR or ‘green’ Al Hosn app.
We’ve asked each of our four schools to give us a taste of the activities that will be on offer at their Festival. On the day, there will be even more fun, food, stalls, competitions and activities to choose from. For now…here’s the highlight reel!
Visit the Festival of Schools at Safa British School for a journey like no other. A journey full of laughter, fun and surprises! The super team at Safa have put together six brilliant activities to give Festival goers taste of life in one of Dubai’s most friendly and community orientated schools. Activities include:
1. Be an animal keeper
2. Be creative with arts and crafts
3. Be a chef and make a cookies
4. Be a scientist and work with gravity
5. Be a book worm and complete a quiz
6. Be a designer and create an outfit for the “trashion” show
Each of the Festival activities will run at 30 minute intervals throughout the morning. Activities 1-5 can be completed in any order, just follow the footprints dotted around the school to show you the way. As you move through the activities, you will collect cardboard, foil, plastic bottles, bubble wrap tissue and newspaper…all to be reused in Safa’s totally sustainable “Trashion Show”! Don’t forget to get your Festival passport stamped at each stop along the way.
Alongside the activities, there will be games, face paints, music making and bouncy castles to keep everyone entertained. Don’t worry mums and dads, there will be plenty of coffee available to keep you energised!
GEMS FirstPoint School are planning an action-packed event aimed at “inspiring the leaders who will shape tomorrow, under the theme of Our Planet, Our Future”. Come along meet the warm and friendly team and enjoy:
• Kids fun zones
• Industry partner activities from Siemens, Schneider Electric, IMG and many more
• School-based workshops and demonstrations (including robotics, MUN debates, coding, make up, desalination and more)
• A bustling food court and thrift/craft market
Sustainable Treasure Hunt
Festival goers will be challenged to find different locations around the school and complete a series of sustainable challenges – all in under one hour! At the end of your hunt, get your Festival passport stamped to receive a very special prize.
Join a host of Adventure and Challenge taster sessions
Visitors can sign up for 30-minute taster sessions in the following areas:
Gymnastics
Rock Climbing
Soccer skills
Adventurous Activities
Performance Stage
Watch as talented youngsters and staff perform live on stage. The entertainment is set to include:
Martial Arts Exhibition
Dance Troop
Gymnastic Display
Session Musicians
Drama Skits
Student music activities
The Arcadia School Green Fashion Show, where visitors can showcase their “Our Planet, Our Future” themed designs
Nursery and FS Stay and Play Creche
Families with children between the ages of 1 and 5 can introduce their children to wonderful Arcadia School Foundation Zone. The Festival’s youngest visitors can engage in craft, messy play, face painting, junior gym, role play and many more activities with the school’s team of Early Years experts.
Get the whole family feeling festive in the Victory Heights Primary School Christmas Zone, with games, activities, music and dance performances.
Shop for unique gifts and treats at the Artisan market. What better way to start your festive shopping that browsing the stalls in an artisan market. Stalls will include a great selection of handmade products from across the region.
Follow the Victory Heights Treasure Trail - complete eight activities along the way to claim your very own treasure!
The whole family are invited to take part in one of several craft workshops. These will include jewellery making, sewing and candle making. There will be something for everyone, from the very youngest children right through to Grandma and Grandad!
