GEMS FirstPoint School is situated in The Villa development, Dubailand, just off the Al Ain Road (E66). The school is close to both Al Habtoor Polo Club and Dubai Outlet Mall. The Villa is home to the Centro shopping centre, which has great parking and a convenient array of shops, including a Spinneys, an Extreme Fun Play Centre plus a Starbucks for the caffeine shot ahead of a busy morning.

The Dubailand area has a few great options for families who would like to extend their day out in the beautiful November sunshine.
Dubai Safari Park is an incredible experience for children (and grown-ups!) of all ages. Just over 20 minutes-drive from GEMS FirstPoint School, the park is home to more than 3000 animals including lions, tigers, bears, rhinos and elephants! Tickets are free for children under the age of 3, but families should book in advance for this ever-popular experience. More information – HERE.
Dubai Outlet Mall is THE spot to grab a bargain in Dubai. Top designer brands (including, Chloe, Givenchy, Dolce and Gabbana, Adidas, Hugo Boss, Athletes Co and more) can be found in amongst the many cafes and eateries at the Mall. Dubai Outlet Mall is a quick 15-minute drive from the Festival of Schools and is open from 10am -10pm daily.
The stunning Al Habtoor Polo Club is just 5 minutes drive from GEMS FirstPoint School. On the afternoon of Saturday 13th November, there will some thrilling polo action at an Al Habtoor Polo Club League match, with free tickets for families.
