Parents and students can finally enjoy an Eid break without it affecting school time or exams. Eid al Adha will run from Friday, July 8 until Monday, July 11. Work for the public and private sector will resume on Tuesday, July 12.

This year the public and private sector in the UAE will enjoy the four-day Eid Al Adha holiday, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Eid Al Adha, known as the festival of the sacrifice, begins on Saturday, July 9.

While schools will not be affected directly, parents travelling for the summer will be. The majority of UAE schools end on the 5th July, already a busy time for UAE airports. With Eid set to fall just a few days afterwards, industry experts expect travel records and numbers could be broken.
