Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) have confirmed that the Eid Al Fitr holiday in private schools and nurseries will last a full week.
This news has been expected, following the KHDA announcement for private schools in Dubai on Tuesday.
In communication sent to school principals this morning, the authority wrote:
"We are pleased to inform you that Eid Al Fitr holiday will be from 30 April 2022 to 6 May 2022. Schools will resume regular operations on 9 May 2022 and go back to regular school timings. We hope you enjoy a much deserved break and wish you and your families a safe and fun Eid holiday."
