Aldar academies now have three ADEC rated 'Outstanding' schools according to a release sent to WhichSchoolAdvisor.com today. Al Muna, Al Bateen and Al Mushrif are the first and so far only schools to receive the 'Outstanding' rating out of over 185 private schools in Abu Dhabi. This is the first time any schools have been awarded an “Outstanding” rating since ADEC began inspections in 2009. All three schools received 'Outstanding' marks in the six core performance standards – Student’s Achievement; Student’s Personal and Social Development; Teaching and Assessment, Curriculum; Protection, Care, Guidance and Support; and Leadership and Management. At Al Muna, the inspection team noted, “the design, implementation and adaptation of the curriculum are outstanding. The highly effective planning creates modifications to successfully engage and meet the learning needs of students of all abilities.” At Al Mushrif and Al Bateen (which were inspected jointly) inspectors said, “senior leadership and all staff share the vision, ambition and determination to provide the highest quality of education.” It went on to highlight that in the majority of lessons the schools’ teaching is excellent, and students acquire very high quality learning skills. His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar Academies said, “the inspection results are well deserved and accurately reflect the achievements of the exceptional students, staff and school leaders at Al Muna, Al Bateen, and Al Mushrif." He went on to say, "these inspections are a vital part of the foundation of Abu Dhabi’s education sector. This rigorous quality control is critical to maintaining and exceeding high standards. Aldar Academies will continue to do our part. We are currently expanding our portfolio of schools in the capital. This will allow us to offer even more choice for parents seeking high quality private education in Abu Dhabi."
