BISAD Top 10 in Global Languages Competition
British International School Abu Dhabi (BISAD) has been ranked amongst the top in a global international language competition.
The school came 10th out of 2459 schools in the Language Perfect World Championships.
Organised by Education Perfect, an online platform for students to learn languages, the competition scored participants from all over the world on vocabulary, language and success.
While other schools from the UAE participated, only BISAD came in the top 50 of the overall competition. In Arabic however, UAE schools proved to be some of the best in the world.
In Arabic, Kindergarten Starters was number one in the world, just pipping BISAD which came in second. GEMS New Millennium School in Al Khail came in fourth place and Cambridge International School Dubai came in seventh.
GEMS New Millenium School, Al Khail was also 10th globally in French.
BISAD finished first in German and Spanish in the UAE and second in the UAE in Arabic and French.
Students between the ages of 10 and 15 participated in the championship.
