Earlier today WhichSchoolAdvisor.com published details on the MoE's Covid-19 framework for schools that details the need for schools to operate at an ever more reduced capacity if/as the Covid-19 infection rates rise.
Guidance varies as protocol risk levels move from low to medium to high to extreme risk.
Schools are expected to reopen on Sunday. In reality many schools are staggering their restart by age groups. A number of schools have further delayed their opening today. Some schools have struggled to meet testing requirements.
All staff must have had a test taken on August 20th, or later.
On Thursday 27th August, the UAE recorded 491 new coronavirus cases, its highest daily tally for more than six weeks.
