The UAE has ordered commercial centres and shopping malls to close for a renewable period of two weeks. The ruling will take force from Wednesday, and includes fish, meat and vegetable markets

In a statement early Monday, the Ministry of Health and Prevention and National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management said the decision will be subject to re-assessment. It excludes wholesalers.

Grocery stores and pharmacies are also excluded, subject to review and evaluation.

Under the decision, restaurants will not be allowed to receive customers. Home deliveries will continue.
