The UAE's Education Influencers, 2017

Welcome to WhichSchoolAdvisor.com's first Educational Influencers list.

Creating the list has been a protracted process, with the WhichSchoolAdvisor.com team each advocating why they believe each person here, has a place on the list.

We have each put forward the people we have met, worked with and reported on. Over the course of several months we have fine tuned the list to what you see today: 23 people who we think have made an outstanding contribution to the UAE's education sector over the past year.

Firstly, it should be noted, our 2017 Influencers don't only hail from the UAE's top staff-or board-rooms.

WhichSchoolAdvisor.com's diverse coverage of everything from school construction, exam results, education policy, curricula, events and of course education news and opinion means our choice of influencers was always going to be diverse.

For 2017 we have education service providers, an architect, an event founder, a teacher who spends her weekends helping develop other teachers - and more...

While we have made every attempt to discover the people who made a difference over the past year, we are also aware that there are many more future-influencers working away, pushing the boundaries and changing the face of education in the UAE.

WhichSchoolAdvisor.com plans, in the coming years to highlight more of these innovators, showcasing the unique work they do. What's more, as we go along, we aim to have more help. This inaugural list of WSA Influencers will form part of an Academy, who will help us put together the next list. Next year's winners will help up put together the following year's... and so on. 

But, back to our influencers of 2017.

These 23 people have each, within their sphere of work, pushed the boundaries and excelled at what they do.

Whether that's extended service or implementing new ground-breaking initiatives, each one has changed the lives of the children, staff and parents they work with.
