happy mum and son

According to both the KHDA and the WSA parent survey results, what makes Dubai's parents really happy isn't the fanciest facilities or even the lowest fees.

Its not about detailed report cards or a principal who 'meets and greets' in the car-park every morning.

It's actually very much about communication/feedback, participation and accessibility to the staff, curriculum and the decision making process...

Parents want to be informed of the goings-on and be able to communicate with their school- great schools make parents feel they are in a 'partnership' and maintain relationships via a variety of different channels.

Good schools give their parents access to not just their child's teacher, but the senior leadership team too as and when it's required.

Most parents want to be involved in their child's school and education, and good schools recognise this, allowing their parents to volunteer for various activities and events throughout the year too.
