Dubai’s own Buffi Jashanmal shot to global fame for her appearance on Emmy-winning reality fashion show Project Runway as a contestant where she weathered a tough time from celebrity judges such as supermodel Heidi Klum and designer Michael Kors but gained fans everywhere for her unique and idiosyncratic style.
Currently in the process of writing her first DIY dress-making book, Buffi Jashanmal was also founder of fashion company, Quiet Riot Dubai.

What a lovely and genuine film - and a reminder that the impact of the best teachers from our school days does have a major impact on our lives long after school. It makes me wistful about my own memories of two teachers who changed my life and without whom I would not have proceeded to university and ultimately becomes the person I am today. Please let's have more films and stories like this as it really does bring education to life - and this reminds us that Dubai, even in its infancy, had an education system that really did work for many of its young people.
