You’d be forgiven for thinking that a career in the creative industries is no longer on option, post-pandemic. Nothing could be further from the truth argues the interviewees on our latest episode of UniPod, the podcast for university, and (ultimately!) job seekers.

In the first episode in 2021 UniPod's Josie Campbell talks to London-based actor Freddie Hogan about his successful career, and how he has made the most of the last year by launching his voice coaching business. Freddie is of the firm belief that creative careers are about to undergo a renaissance with the arts and humanities reclaiming the spotlight after years and years of a strictly STEM focus.

Employers, he says, value the flexibility and creativity offered by arts graduates, and their communication and critical thinking skills are in high demand.

Creative careers are also very much on the agenda at the SAE Institute in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Christina Kallas introduces UniPod to their suite of bachelor degrees, such as Games Development, Audio, Design, Animation and Film.
