Two Education Providers Promise More Nurseries By 2020

Two major education providers announced their plans to take on the UAE's nursery sector this week.

Yesterday, Bloom Education which already has two successful schools, 'Brighton College Abu Dhabi' and 'Brighton College Al Ain,' announced its plans to launch 10 new nurseries across the UAE.

Partnering with Bidayaat, a childcare development company based in the UAE, Bloom Education plans to open the proposed nurseries over the next five years.

Speaking to Tradearabia.com, Bloom Holding’s chief executive officer, Sameh Muhtadi said: “it is an honour to collaborate with Bidayaat in this project that will contribute towards driving the investment and growth of Abu Dhabi’s early childhood education sector."

“Bloom Education’s strategy is to broaden the different segments within the country’s private education sector and nurseries definitely form the bedrock of this strategy. We are keen to provide the right foundation for children who will benefit from our education model and approach,” he went on to say.

The news follows the launch of Safari Kid’s inaugural nursery in the Middle East, the first of a confirmed six nurseries to be launched by 2017 and potential 20 proposed by the group in total.

Safari Kid, a Silicon Valley based education provider already provides 10,000 pre-school children nursery education in Canada, Malyasia, Hong Kong and India.

Speaking to Menafm.com, founder and CEO of Safari Kid- Ms. Shy Mudakavi said, "it's the right time for Safari Kid to enter UAE and meet the growing demand for early learning institutions. Education ideally starts from a very young age and, in the UAE, many children make their first foray into it by attending a nursery.”

“The huge demand for these institutions has led to a tremendous increase in their number, however there is always room for quality institutions. UAE's rise as a commercial hub attracts families across countries and cultures, and one of the key areas of planning is quality education for their kids before enrolling in school. We aim to replicate the global success of Safari Kid by helping children explore the jungle of knowledge with creativity, collaborative learning and the effective use of technology."
