With Swift Playgrounds, our pupils can learn and implement fundamental coding concepts to control these environment devices to startup, shutdown, movement capabilities, custom animations and more. This not only gives our pupils the chance to learn how to put together more complex coding commands but allows each pupil to define completely unique behaviours for their programmable devices.”

GEMS Founders Al Barsha

The Buzz: Although this school has no KHDA rating and won't have for two more years, it hasn't stopped the stampede of Dubai parents through Founders' doors.
The Founders' launch was one of the most successful in years, with estimates of over 1,800 students signed up before the school even opened. The following year, saw the numbers double to around 3,000.
Based on the hugely popular and successful GEMS Cambridge and Winchester models, Founders brought affordable UK education into the epicentre of premium school territory, Al Barsha South. In the process it gave cash strapped parents in the area an affordable option from the well-known GEMS stable.

The Buzz: Given the runaway success of GEMS Founders Al Barsha, there was never really any doubt that the Founders 1.2 in Mizhar wouldn’t start out well. Launching with around 1,300 students on day one, the school began with numbers most other schools could only dream of!
