Coming in at 9th = place is the India International School in Sharjah which despite being a fairly new school, and initial teething pains (teacher retention in particular), this is a school that seems to have built up considerable loyalty from its stakeholders - students and their parents - in a very short while.
The CBSE school is owned by the Pace group, which at odds with the trend of building schools at the mid to premium end of the market. "Our target is lower and middle-income families who often feel left out from private schooling, said PA Ibrahim, the chairman of the Pace Group.
"Indian schools [in the Gulf] are oversubscribed, and fees are rising, and we want to offer something that is more affordable for Indian families.”
This is something parents clearly appreciate, especially when backed up with the school's solid performance thus far. Fees at India International are a relatively affordable 6,000 AED per annum. (Note: the school does not publish its fees, so this is information collected indirectly to us. If fees have been revised, kindly let us know at email@example.com).
